Ready Steady Cook Week
This week children across the school have been learning key skills for life with regards to living a healthy life. Teachers have provided the opportunity for children to prepare and cook food; the school nurse taught them about the dangers of eating too much sugar and our catering consultants showed children the importance of having a healthy, balanced diet. Children have also learnt about the importance of exercise through the daily mile, as all children in KS1 & 2 now have their very own pedometers to track how many steps they take each day during the daily mile. What a busy and exciting week! Work will be displayed during parents’ evening.
