Message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents/Carers,

Well done to all of the children who presented their manifesto last week. It is lovely to see so many children really excited about running for election. This is a great way to show children how the voting process works first hand! As you can see, the school photographer is coming in on Monday, so please make sure that your child wears their school jumpers! Next week we will be sending out booking slots for parents' evening the following week. Please keep an eye out for these, as it is a great opportunity to meet with your child's new class teacher.

Many thanks, Jon Stevens.

School Council 2018-19

Welcome to our new School Council for this year! A big thank you to all of the children who presented their manifesto to the school last week. As always, there has to be a limit to the number of people who can be on the School Council, but, it is always good for everyone to have a go!

Homework

We have started to put onto the school website children's homework from each class. This will enable parents/carers to view the home work sheet given out every week. You can find the homework by clicking on the 'Classes' tab, choosing the relevant Key Stage and then clicking on your child's class. This will bring up the page with the homework on. Your child will still come home with a photocopied sheet until half term. We hope you will find this useful.

School Governors

This year, our School Governors are coming into school on a monthly basis to meet with staff and children. There will also be an opportunity to meet with parents/carers as well, who wish to talk to a Governor. More information to follow.
