Here at Bromley Hills, we create an ethos where children enjoy coming to school to learn skills for life; they love to learn and can grow and show their true potential. We achieve this by creating a caring environment where children feel safe and happy, ensuring each child has ‘Time to Shine’.
Our curriculum provides a rich and exciting programme of learning that enthuses and challenges all of our children. We believe that every child is unique and has their own personal strengths - it is vital to provide for each and every one of our learners. Therefore, through a range of teaching strategies, we ensure that all children can access the curriculum and are engaged in their learning both in and out of the classroom.
If you would like to find out more about our curriculum, please contact the school office and we can arrange for someone to talk you through how we deliver the National Curriculum.
We use the Chris Quigley scheme of work to support our delivery of the National Curriculum. You can download an outline of this below.
At Bromley Hills, we use Supersonic Phonics to teach phonics.
COVID-19 has required us to adapt to new ways of working and delivering the curriculum when children are isolating at home. We have introduced the use of Microsoft Teams as our Remote Learning platform.
Please see our Remote Education Information document below which outlines what to expect from remote education where national or local restrictions require entire cohorts (or bubbles) to remain at home.
