The School Council is made up of 12 children, one representative for each Key Stage 2 class and voted representatives from Year 6 for Reception and Key Stage 1 classes.

We meet on a weekly basis to discuss topical issues that will help to improve our school. We are involved in many initiatives throughout the school year, including helping to organise charity days such as Children In Need and Red Nose Day.

We collect suggestions from our class on how to improve the school. In previous years, the School Council were involved in the design of a tyre play area and an adventure playground.

We also run a school shop, selling items such as pencil cases, pencils, rubbers and rulers. This helps us to raise funds for the school.

We understand that not all of our suggestions can be taken on board by the school but we feel listened to and we always receive feedback.
